Dark Surprise

            We all know that our time in this world is limited, and that eventually all of us will end up underneath some sheet, never to wake up. And yet it is always a surprise when it happens to someone we know... It is like walking up the stairs to your bedroom in the dark, and thinking there is one more stair than there is. I talked to your Mom for a long time the other night... Your sister tried to pan the camera so I can see you inside the casket. She asked if I wanted to see you.

I coudln't do it.

My Mom told me that she doesn't want to see you in a decorated box as well.

I'd rather have my last memory of you the last day we spent together.

We all miss you.
